New beginnings for us all. Our vicar Nicky spoke this morning on the Baptism of Christ and led our service of Holy Communion.
She particularly asked us to read the current Pews News which includes details of a course being offered to us all.
Our churchwarden Ann thanked everyone in the Axmouth church and village community for their collective effort to mount the recent Christmas Tree Festival. Donations from visitors amounted to £2698.60 – which will go towards the Church Tower fund. We’ll hear more about this in due course but the plan is to insulate the Tower to keep the church warmer. This will not only make it much more comfortable but also save on heating fuel. It’s green, it’s eco-friendly and very much the way the church is trying to go.
