We’re almost there. Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, and for the last time we are restricted to an Online Service in place of the usual donkey procession through Axmouth village. Mary and Jane (below) were looking forward to coming – we always give them carrots – but next year is already in their diaries!
Then, it’s all change! We shall have actual services in Axmouth Church on Tuesday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, because restrictions on live worship have been eased in time for the most important time in the Christian calendar.
