We had a service of lessons and carols with the Axmouth and Uplyme Joint Choir, organists Roger Grose and Adrian Pearson and a large community congregation in full voice!

Advent: Darkness to Light Service
This evening service began in a darkened church. Kate carried a single candle and lit candles held by the choir, who then passed down the church lighting candles for each member of the congregation. The service began with a choral hymn and continued with antiphons, readings, chants, hymns and prayers. Hilary led and members of both Axmouth and Uplyme churches took part.
