To help with our first missional objective of helping maintain and develop the church building as a place of peace and prayer, we are setting up a Friends of Axmouth Church group.  This will give people in the village who are not members of the church community an opportunity to give directly to the church building and also to volunteer their time and skills in the upkeep of the building and churchyard.  To this end, we will be holding an open meeting on Monday 28^th March at 7pm at The Harbour Inn.  At this meeting we explaining the vision for the church building and will be inviting members of the community to contribute.

Tell everyone you know about the Friends of Axmouth Church group and invite them to join you at the open meeting on 28^th March.

We would like every member of the church to consider what we call ‘planned giving’ to support the mission of the church (if you do not already do so).  Planned giving is where you give, not in the weekly cash collection, but by standing order directly from your bank account.  The reason we ask you to do this is such that the PCC (church council) can better plan our expenditure on mission and make sure we spend our money on the right things.
