It’s Palm Sunday this weekend and we’re re-enacting the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem just a week before the Crucifixion. As the poster says, we’ll walk with the donkeys through the village, from the foot of Stepps Lane to the church, then go in for a drink and snack. Children are welcome to come and pat our donkeys
On Maundy Thursday we’ll have what’s known as an Agape Meal at 7 pm in the Village Hall next to the church. It’s a way of informally breaking bread together as Jesus did with people in all sorts of settings, not least at the last supper the night before the Crucifixion.
The next day there will be a reflective Good Friday service at 12 noon in Uplyme church
And on Easter Sunday come at 10am and join us for a joyful Easter Communion as we celebrate Christ’s glorious Resurrection.
